Выставка «Пустое знание» молодой художницы Дарьи Иринчеевой проходила в 2017 году в Москве в арт-галерее Christie's. Экспозиция «Пустого знания» состоит из картин-объектов, имитирующих старые советские издания — от журнала «Огонек» до учебника по химии и рассказов для детей. Обложка изображена на холсте, корешок книги — сбоку на подрамнике. Некоторые висят на стене, некоторые расставлены по полкам совсем как настоящие книги из школьной библиотеки. Только открыть их невозможно. Получается кладезь знаний, на сегодняшний день устаревших. Однако в новом виде эти книги получают новые смыслы и интерпретацию.
Каталог выставки небольшого формата (145 × 200 мм) со сложно сфальцованной обложкой, которая разворачивается в постер с изображением всех произведений выставки. В блоке с открытым корешком использованы два типа бумаг. Офсетная в альбомной части и сильно-мелованная для статей.
Daria Irincheeva is a young contemporary artist from St. Petersburg. She lives and works in New York City. She makes complex spatial installations based on personal experience and reflection of the post-Soviet period in Russia. She engages in group and personal exhibitions in different countries.
The exhibition “Empty Knowledge” by young artist Darya Irincheva was in 2017 in Moscow in the art gallery Christie's. The exhibition “Empty Knowledge” consists of paintings-objects imitating old Soviet publications: magazines, textbooks, stories for children. The cover and spine are painted on canvas. Some canvases hang on the wall, some are placed on shelves, like real books from the school library. Only they can't be opened. It's a strange library of outdated knowledge. But in a new form, these books get new meanings and interpretation.
The exhibition catalog has a small format (145 × 200 mm). The cover has a difficult book-folding and it's a poster depicting all works of the exhibition. Two types of papers are used in the book-block: offset paper in the album part and coated paper for texts.
